Personal Style: "Coastal Glam"

Rachel Hoenig

“A room makeover doesn't have to be a big intimidating process, and it doesn't always need to begin from scratch.”

High Point University
B.S., Interior Design, Studio Art Minor

Rachel began her Interior Design journey at High Point University where she graduated with a B.S. in Interior Design and a Minor in Studio Art. During her time in High Point, Rachel experienced all the furniture capital of the world had to offer. She participated in several furniture markets, designing showroom layouts of her own, as well as assisting celebrity designers. It was touring the High Point furniture factories that sparked her obsession for quality in design. “You spend a lot of time in your home, it needs to be filled with products that are beautiful, comfortable, durable, and worth every penny”.

After college, Rachel returned to her home state of Maryland. She worked as a designer for a high end furniture company in Baltimore’s Harbor East area. A few years later Rachel returned to North Carolina, but this time to Wilmington.

She considers her personal style to be “Coastal Glam”, combining textures and colors inspired by coastal living with comfort and elegance. However, Rachel enjoys working with all different styles and loves the process of getting to know someone through their design preferences. Her specialty is combining a client’s existing pieces with new fresh products. Rachel is always focused on making the design process fun and never stressful.
